Congrats to Middle Tennessee
Tough game to lose, especially after being so close. But in the end, y'all got it done, and the Herd didn't. Now, take care of business the rest of the way and win the ones you should (meaning, of course, all of 'em) and lock in your bowl eligibility.

Hey. At least the game was interesting, if nothing else...

Congrats MTSU! Man, what a game that was. I can't remember being up and down so much so often. Each of us had at LEAST 3 chances to win that game. Good luck the rest of the way.

You probably will - something about the Joan just is a curse for MT! Hope I can make it up for that game.

Don't feel bad a lot of teams lose a lot in the Joan.. But, we're nice about it and seem to return the favor whenever we go on the road lol

But, in all seriousness.. This may not be either of our years but I do believe that MTSU and Marshall are going to be playing some very big and hard fought conference games for the next several years.. Both of our ball clubs are chalk full of young talent.. Congrats on the win tonight.. Now we have to go back to the drawing board and try to readjust our focus for FIU

Good luck against FIU! They have a tough team. I'm sure our next few battles will be just that - hard-fought and challenging. Great rivalry to be held.

Marshall very well may beat us next year, but "cursed at the Joan"? We're 0-3 there and lost to a FCS national champion, a FCS national semi finalist, and a 13-1 C-USA champion.

If either of us should feel cursed in the other's stadium, I don't think it's us to be honest...

Maybe it's not a "curse". It could just be that our home stadiums can be tough places to play. Novel concept, I realize, but sometimes I think a little outside the box!

The Joan is a tough place to play, but I'm not sure that's a factor in our 0-3 record, we were uo against dramatically better teams in all three games.

We've had good environments at JRF, but I'm not sure it's a tough place to play.
