What division is Kalamazoo?

Nevermind. Looks like they are D3. Still a nice tuneup for a Tava-less WMU team.

K College is literally across the street from our Fieldhouse. Beautiful campus. MOUNTAINOUS though. Not easy for us fatty's doing run camp.

BG men beat Notre Dame College 74-65 in OT. We were down 29-17 at the half. It was not pretty.
BG women lost to Ashland 59-53.

That was also on ESPN3. It was horribly played on both sides. BG looked pretty bad.

Hillsdale has the GLIAC preseason player of the year in PF Kyle Cooper. I saw him drop 20+ on Michigan at Crisler last year. He had a great game including a play where he made a move past Nathan Boothe of UT, and then with one hand controlled a lob and in the same motion he layed it in.

The 34 year old bearded point guard started his career at NIU and saw time as a freshman starter for them during some dark days for that program.

Hillsdale shot the three well, helped by Ryan Badowski, another D1 transfer from Longwood.

Cooper could play for any team in the MAC.

Ball State women scored 157 points in exhibition with Urbana. Gave up 72 but still more than doubled the score.
