Women score 151 points!
The women's basketball team beat Urbana (Ohio) 151-72 in an exhibition game last night. 151 points? Sure it was against very inferior competition, but still, can anyone recall a game in which 151 points were scored? The Cards' top players played less than one half of the minutes in that game as well. Incidentally, the new 10-minute quarters game was interesting, but just seemed like another timeout, not really having much impact one way or the other.

When a team scores 157 points, that makes for a lot of possessions for the opponent. Urbana actually took 57 shots, an incredible 41 of them from 3-point range, and they made 13 of those 3s. Imagine giving up 72 points and yet more than doubling the score. Very interesting game.
