Well, besides the inside info I got (I knew it was fully ruptured a few hours after the game) that hare is probably done for his time at NIU. A fully ruptured achilles is an extremely difficult injury to come back from and it is nearly impossible to ever return to the same level you were at. It was a torn achilles that would have been better, but a fully ruptured one is a much different animal. I wish him the best, but I doubt we ever see him in the cardinal and black again.

Well, he MIGHT be back next season, but he certainly won't be playing in the first few games. Also, he probably won't be back next season.

The treatment is what it is, and even if he is the most motivated player on earth it's a VERY TOUGH injury to come back from. It's also one that is easily re-injured.

I really thought Hare was developing into a very good passing QB. He has been fun to watch and i was proud of his performances these past two seasons.

We're going to learn a lot about who's ready to play QB in the next 8 months. For some reason I just don't have any confidence in Maddie, we'll see who steps up. Maybe Graham will shock us all and be a total stud.

WMU will be the toughest game, no doubt about that. But we will be home so that will help. My biggest fear is getting by Buffalo and WMU and having a let down game vs ohio. But we are the better team in all three of our last games, so we'll see what happens.
