EU has been an empire since Germany overthrew the Italian government several years back and replaced it with their own. Eventually, shots will be fired.

If shots are to fired it better be sooner rather than later..

For years, I have thought the shots fired would come from the UK, but now I think it might come from within Germany itself.

I remember reading somewhere (don't remember what source) that the unifications of Germany and Italy hurt Europe. Perhaps, the Holy Roman Empire and Italian city states were better.

Great Britain can't be allowed to leave the EU in any meaningful way. I expect them to pull every dirty trick in the book to make sure Britons think leaving would be the end of civilization.
