I know many people laugh off the "hunger" factor, but tbh , that is one of my biggest fears going into this game. I do think Toledo may want this more than NIU. I think there have been stages of some not so great body language out there for NIU, particularly since that BC game, and particularly on defense. It could get ugly Tuesday night, but I don't think that necessarily means its the beginning of a period of Toledo domination.

I doubt the Toledo players want this more than our Huskies. I think it's going to be a hard-fought game. Let's see which team has the better game plan and which team is better prepared. Both teams are very talented but so far looks like Toledo has risen to the challenge better than the Huskies this season. We'll see what happens Tuesday.

I think each team wants this game as badly as the other, but execution will be the determining factor.

To be brutally honest, this is only thing I fear about Coach Carey, will he have his team ready to match the intensity of Toledo, you know they want this game more than anything. I just don't know about Carey's ability to prepare for things like this, it is my one question about him.

Yeah you can pretty much take that where it came from and leave, if you know anything about me you should know how much I despise the Rockets.

Nobody has talked Toledo up more than you. Matt Campbell is quoting you to recruits.

They are a friggin top 20 team, we could all say UT sucks, but why turn your head on that. They obviously are a good team, you can hate Toledo and still realize they have a hell of a team.

Honestly, I have all the confidence in the world going into Tuesday. NIU steps up in November, I see it every year. Besides Carey, what other big stars does Toledo have? I understand that stars don't make a winner, but it seems like in these types of games, the real stars shine. There's a reason why Jordan Lynch only lost 1 MAC game vs another MAC star QB. Last year we went ice cold for a while, but we became bosses in the all important Toledo/Ohio/WMU stretch. NIU wins out and wins the west.

Thus far they are a top 20 team. Still quite a few games left. And if you were NIU's coach you'd surrender to Toledo faster than Quisling.

MD you need to chill out. NIU has a realistic shot.
A victory against Toledo is worth more than a victory against Boston College.
This is the game of the year.

we'll be watching in broncoland. Doesn't matter to me who wins, as long as you both are too exhausted to continue the rest of the season.

A Victory over Toledo is better than a beating Northwestern.
