He's actually doing his job...protecting the football, not forcing anything, and trying to move the ball. UNC to their credit is just really playing good defense, executing these zone coverages really well...I'm unfortunately sorta glad we don't play them. Their defense right now would match up well against Blake and James.
Not forcing anything? He should have five picks by now. He can't even hit an open rb in the flats
I'm not saying he's having anywhere near a perfect game, I'm just saying that for the most part you can tell that he's playing within their system. For how many linebackers have run free on him, and how well UNC's secondary is playing, you can't totally bash the guy. He's giving them chances while not completely throwing them out of the game.
He did this against Syracuse too. It's not UNC playing out of their minds
They're not playing out of their minds, but their defense is playing very well. Pitt is overrated but they've got some talent.

The Panthers have only beaten Akron by more than a TD (and beat Youngstown State by 8) while the Tar Holes have fattened themselves up against bad teams including two FCS opponents.
Not to mention nc states schedule
In the effort of fairness, Houston's schedule is not that much more meatier, but Houston is far superior to these teams.

At least Houston made an effort, NCSU played Troy, ODU, South Alabama, and Eastern Kentucky. That's embaressing

Completely agree.
That is just embarrassing for a P5 school. Even Bill Snyder is aghast at that bakery lineup.

But it still p!sses me off to see UNC-CH winning a football game. Their "lack of institutional control" goes way beyond anything SMU was accused of doing in the 80s.
Apparently they're a "Sacred Cow" program.

Agreed .... both suck. Inflated records vs bad ACC competition.
