RE: Game 8 - JMU
Slightly terrifying that JMU could put up that many points while never having the ball. Looking at their individual drives:
9 plays, 54 yards, 2:54-TD
10 plays, 71 yards, 2:29- TD
6 plays, 29 yards, 1:50- Punt
10 plays, 76 yards, 2:13- TD
3 plays, 71 yards, 0:22- TD
10 plays, 58 yards, 3:02- TD
6 plays, 29 yards, 2:08- Punt
4 plays, 25 yards, 0:53- Punt
10 plays, 71 yards, 3:08- TD
9 plays, 89 yards, 2:29- TD
1 play, 0 yards, 7 seconds- Fumble
1) I wonder if JMU regrets not trying to slow their pace down early on once it was obvious that they couldn't stop Richmond. It might not have changed things but they could have tried to protect their defense.
2) Even without Lee they moved the ball against Richmond. W&M's probably going to try to take the air out of the football. That will work as long as W&M can finish drives.
