That was identical to the game last year. We were better and outplayed them, but kept making the same mistakes over and over and nearly gave the game away.

It was similar, in terms of shooting ourselves in the foot, but I think we had five turnovers last year. Only two today, although the one was very costly.

RE: 10-24 gameday (MAC games)
Just got back from doing some chores and saw the updated Toledo score....man, I have a feeling that Coach Campbell really lit a fire under those guys at halftime....UT has outscored UMASS 41-7 in the second half with the game in its final moments. Looks like Rockets will pull it out...what a comeback!

P.S. I sure didn't see that Buffalo beatdown on OU coming....

Some sick TD catches that should make highlight shows in both BG and UT games.

I don't think UT can contain them or outscore them.

And BG is bowl eligible (as is Toledo).

While it would be a "turn-around" for Kent to find three wins in the last four games.

Division leaders Toledo in the West & Bowling Green in the East bowl eligible
Northern Illinois in the West and OhioU in the East one game away, WMU and CMU in the West two games away.

Ball State won the game last year on a 55-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining in the game. Cards and Chips nearly always have close, exciting games.

Ohio was 7-0(3-0) and ranked in 2012 when they were featured in Sports Illustrated. Since then the Bobcats are 20-18(11-14).

Yes, JGH, UMass threw the game. You can tell because 1-5 teams almost never give up leads against 6-0 teams unless they are blatantly cheating. I'm sure there will be NCAA reprecussions.

Last year Miami snapped our 21(?) game losing streak vs UMass. UMass had a 27 point lead in that game and lost.

UMASS doesn't have the firepower to keep pace in the 2nd half, especially with all the players dropping like flies.

It's UMass's thing.

We (Miami) don't exactly have a lot of firepower ourselves!
