Can you give any proof that Marshall has "zero" academics? Marshall isn't ranked in national academic rankings because they are a regional University. I'm not saying Marshalls anywhere close to Duke, or even Tulane for that matter, but to downgrade the academics at MU is degrading to the alumni as well as current students. If you want me to give examples, I will, but all I ask is that you do not state something when you are ignorant to the facts.

Don't fight with him, it's a losing proposition even if you provide all the facts to oppose him

If it happens, it'll be the year after or the following...

It is not going to happen then either. The NCAA is having a vote in a few months on whether to allow the B12 a championship game with only 10 members.

Does the B12 explode. Texas/KU B10. OU/OSU to Pac 12 or SEC

RE: Should the American expand?
BYU and some AAC schools need to announce some more future games. Right now, BYU only has @ Cincinnati in '16 and @ ECU in '17 and the USF series in '21 and '22.

It would be nice to get Houston, UCF, and UConn back on future schedules - and a series with Memphis would be sweet. That has the initial embers for a rivalry. BYU also has decent history with SMU (Holiday Bowl and WAC) and Tulsa (WAC, '06 and '07 shootouts, '11 Armed Forces Bowl). I think Tulane still owes BYU a game from the '09 matchup.

At least 2-3 AAC-BYU games each year.
