Made sense in 2012. Now, not so much.

Mention ORU beating them the past two year's in basketball. Nothing more a TU fan hates than losing the Mayor's Cup to ORU.

Sorry...that's the best I got. 03-lmfao

People who get upset about 'being' a HC opponent are stuck in high school or something.

As a junior, my HS team was the opponent for 4 homecoming games. Teams set their homecoming based one whenever we fell on the schedule-mid-september, for instance.

We were so bad, when we won one game we had to call it The Streak.

It is a marginal shot being a homecoming opponent.

RE: Tulsa smack
I mean, think about it. A program like Tulsa is likely to have six home games a year - four conference, two out of conference.

You're not going to have your first or last home game (well, maybe the last one, depending on when it falls, but unlikely) designated as HC. That only leaves four. It's probably going to be a conference game. You don't have a lot of say in the matter - HC tends to be mid-October to early November.

It's not a slight unless the home program starts making noise about their HC opponent. Otherwise it's just a Greek affair for the students.

It is. I just hope our boys shake off the hangover early in the game.
