And he thinks Toledo is overrated.

Year National Champion Nearby Waffle Houses
2014 Ohio State 14
2013 Florida State 8
2012 Alabama 7
2011 Alabama 7
2010 Auburn 6
2009 Alabama 7
2008 Florida 3
2007 Louisiana State 8
2006 Florida 3
2005 Texas 2
2004 Southern California 0
2003 Louisiana State, Southern California 8, 0
2002 Ohio State 14
2001 Miami (Fla.) 2
2000 Oklahoma 3
1999 Florida State 8
1998 Tennessee 11
N/A Boise State 0
N/A Louisville 10
N/A TCU 10
As can clearly be seen, the only national champion without a waffle house nearby is USC. That's one national champion since 1998.
Looking at Boise State, Louisville and TCU, only Boise State is not located near to a Waffle House. And which one of these is not in a P5 conference?

I just found out there are four Waffle Houses near the Glass Bowl

RE: Frazier's Corner
I wonder if T Boone Pickens has any money for NIU left over from the $100 million he gave to Oklahoma State
I imagine that TCU also has a few really major donors that help...
The move to another conference is not as attractive as improving the MAC..
The need is great to bring in better programs and replace those current programs that are sinking slowly
.Illinois State would like to move up to FBS..they would be a good rivalry but right now the MAC basketball would be a step down from the MVC..
RE MAC football: Watching Ohio get beat by a second year FBS school did not do the MAC any good at all....This could be another dismal bowl season for the MAC....

Sounds great, but the issue is the MAC University Presidents do not have the political balls to boot out a current program/institution. NIU would have better chances of moving on then staying in an improved MAC.

There was a time not so long ago we were the worst team in the MAC for a sustained period of time. Thankfully the MAC University presidents did not give us the boot.

One is going up in Gurnee. I believe it will be the farthest North location.

MVC might have a team or two at the top that is better than the MAC top teams, but overall the RPI is very similar. It was pretty similar last year too. There is not much difference anymore.

From ESPN. Somehow missed this last October.
Is this heaven? No, it's a Waffle House

Quote:SEC country is waffle country, with 95 restaurants in proximity to the 14 SEC schools . . . There are also locations in 11 of 14 ACC towns
