Biden's Choice
To run or not to run. That is the question that is driving Hillary bonkers.

Clearly Uncle Joe's apparent hesitancy to declare his intentions is causing great angst within the Hillary camp. Hillary has mobilized her political assassination team, led by John Podesta, to agitate the Vice President into making his choice public.

Biden may still be testing the political winds to see if there is any hardening or slipping in the Hill's support. Her strong performance in last week's debate may have give Biden pause but I suspect that he has already made the decision and is waiting for the right moment to announce his candidacy; a moment that is designed to cause Hillary the most distress or at least rob her of the her fawning press coverage.

If Joe wasn't going to run, there is no reason why he wouldn't have made that clear. There is no upside to Joe or Hill, or Obammy, for his delay.

If he has chosen to run, not declaring allows him to reach out to the money men and build a team without worrying about federal election law restrictions.

My bet, he'll declare on the final allowable day (sometime in November). And I think the Hill knows it all too well.

RE: Biden's Choice
It's really not that late in the process either, especially when you're talking about such a weak group of Democratic candidates. I think I saw something last week that said it was the anniversary of when George W. Bush got into the 2000 race.

I also don't understand the Hillary hype of how well she did in the debate. I thought she was very average, but only did well in some eyes because of how poor others did (honestly I thought everyone but O'Malley was disappointing in the debate). If Biden enters the race (and I suspect he will do so either this week or next), then it will get very interesting on the Democratic side.

I think the primaries and the deadlines to enter are more forward than in 2000.

If certain things happened, I'd actually vote for Uncle Joe. I think there are folks who share my thoughts.....the Democrats should want him to run. I wouldn't even consider voting for any of those other clowns.

Uncle Joe against Kasich, Bush, or Carly would be a tough call, but I'd probably sit it out. All the Obama leftovers would stick around and we'd get much of the same.

RE: Biden's Choice
Rand is not going to get the nomination. There is nobody else in either the R field or the D field that interests me in the slightest.

I will vote for Gary Johnson if he gets the libertarian nomination. I will vote for Jesse Ventura if he gets the libertarian nomination. Other than Rnad, there is nobody in either the D field or the R field that I would prefer to Jesse Ventura. That's pretty appalling.

I know you don't share my opinion, but if Trump somehow wins the nod, I'd vote for Uncle Joe. If it is Trump-Sanders, I couldn't vote due to my head exploding into oblivion. If it is Trump-Clinton, I'll vote 3rd party.

Joe makes a lot of foot-in-mouth comments and he's kind of creepy around the ladies, but I think he'd be a decent president. I'll take decent.

RE: Biden's Choice
Delaware Joe actually has/had a pretty poor reputation, both within the Senate with his colleagues and with the American people as sort of an creepy odd-ball VP.

Running and losing the Presidency makes him Kerry-esque. You do not want to be Kerry-esque.

He would be a nightmare for Team Clinton. I think the Democratic powers-that-be might be in his ear about not running and possibly causing Hilldawg to lose the nomination. She already has a bunch of hurdles.

Same here. As a centrist..I think it would be good for this country for Joe to run.... If Trump or Carson get the nomination I might have to hold my nose and vote for the old boy..

I just don't know what will happen to this country if we get another president who is as divisive as the current asshat in the whitehouse....

Indeed.

Contemplate a debate series between Biden and Carson for a second.

It would likely be the most lopsided series of debates in American history.

I like Dr. Carson, but he's too nice, too passive, and not up to speed on what matters. Biden would wipe the floor with him. Then again, so would Hilldawg.

He'll run.

Obama is going to skewer Hillary - by pardoning her.

Biden walks away with the nomination but has to take Elizabeth Warren along.

He has to play the demographic card. Julian Castro will be his running mate.

To old whiteys won't work.

Unfortunately. And the drift toward socialism will continue. Until we run out of somebody else's money.

The advantage of Sanders is that he will run us out sooner, so it will be over sooner. The disadvantage of most republicans is that they will run us out more slowly, so the agony will be prolonged.

It is still surreal to me that we are basiccly bankrupt...so let's drift toward socialism. it seems backwords to me...

He wasn't a serious contender 8 years ago, and with his record of lunacy as VP how could he be a serious contender now?

The dims are a mess, and I don't think that the Republicans have a clue either.

Unless there is some sort of crazy smoking gun, anyone that cares about Hillary's emails this time next year isn't planning on voting for her anyway.
