Yes, if all the stars align.

For all the media love for the P5, I think there'd be a huge stink if a 2 loss team go in ahead of an undefeated Memphis. Who knows, leaving out Memphis could be the sacrtificial lamb that prompts playoff expansion.

Ole miss needs to win out

Temple, Houston and Navy needs to continue to win their games but lose of course to memphis

It looks like many of the top teams in the other conference may have 1 or 2 losses by the end of the year

If that happens then it's gets very interesting what the committee will do with a Undefeated memphis team that beat SEC champions and knock of a couple of ranked teams

I will buy one of those cereal/ coffee companies that declared Ole Miss champs back in the 60s and have them resurrect their rankings...

It will be tough. That means two P5 conference champs don't go.

No, the best we could do is something like the Peach Bowl or another New Years Day bowl.

Ole Miss would probably have to win out, temple and Houston of course woułd be ranked when we beat them and preferably finish with only the Memphis loss, and we would need crazy things to happen in the P5 conferences

Not really correct.

We could get in the playoffs, or the access bowl which is an at-large reserved for the G5. We almost certainly could not get into one of the other at-large bowls. It would far more easier to get into the playoffs than one of the non-access at-large bowls.

The only trophy I want is an invitation to the Big 12. We need TCU and Baylor to lose to win that one.

They both still must play Ok, Ok St, and each other. Baylor certainly cant lose a game and be considered. (Their own conference hacks admitted that preseason.) TCU *might* be able to lose one and still get in. But they would have a hard time convincing the committee that a one loss TCU without playing a CCG deserves to get in over an undefeated Memphis who played a CCG, likely against a top 25 team.

I once went undefetaed for a whole season but someone offered me a Greek salad during bowl season. Never been undefeted though

Yep, and well probably end up getting Toledo in a bowl… not that that wouldn't be a great game, just not a big name school

If Ole Miss wins the SEC championship game things could get crazy.

We would still likely have the Bama/LSU issue if one of those only has one loss, but they wouldn't be the league champion.

I think the PAC XII is going to end up bailing out...I think their champ will end with 2 losses.
