Kalamazoo Area Residents - PLEASE HELP!
To all you Bronco fans who are pet lovers, this is such an incredibly worthy charity drive. A bag or two of donated dry pet food can help keep senior citizens and their beloved pets together. It will mean so much. Thanks.

8th ANNUAL
COOL 101 FM / RSVP PET FOOD DRIVE
October 12 - 16

RSVP and Cool 101 FM are hosting a pet food drive to help seniors who may be struggling financially to feed their pets while meeting their own needs. Pets offer unconditional affection and can be beneficial companions for seniors who live alone. However, pet ownership can present a physical or financial burden for some older adults in terms of accessing pet food. The pet food drive will be collecting dry dog and cat food in 10 pound bags or smaller.

Pet food may be dropped off at RSVP of Senior Services at 918 Jasper St. Kalamazoo from 9am - 4:30pm.

Or drop off donations at these Cool 101 Live broadcast locations:

10/12 - Hardings Market, 5161 W. Main St., Kalamazoo
10/13 - Hardings Market, 618 N. Riverview Dr., Parchment
10/14 - Hardings Market, 3750 W. Centre St. Portrage
10/15 - Hardings Market, 6330 S. Westnedge, Portage
10/16 - Hardings Market, 6430 W. Stadium Dr., Oshtemo

Dry bags of pet food can also be dropped off this week at radio station WQXC Cool 101 on M-89/E. Allegan St. in Otsego, The Kalamazoo Humane Society, and the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department. Please help the seniors and their pets to stay together. Thanks!

RE: Kalamazoo Area Residents - PLEASE HELP!
Kalamazoo area pet food drive for senior citizens in need runs through Friday. I just stopped at my local Dollar General Store and was able to pick up 5 bags of pet food, all between 3 and 6 lbs., for under $20!! Left them at the radio station in Otsego. Feels good, REALLY good to know that this may very well help keep a senior's pet at home. Face it, most seniors have older pets that would be very difficult to adopt out. They are more likely to spend a lonely week at an animal control facility, and then be euthanized. So please help.
