I could maybe see some ETSU alumni living in Georgia maybe making the trip but I would be surprised if many are going to make the trek from Johnson City to see the beatdown.

"Mercer was like us three years ago". Don't we wish. At this point in the season then, they were 5-1 and finished 10-2. Will Torbush be back if he goes 0-11? And, is Fulmer still on the payroll? Plus, what's Mike Smith and Kenny Chesney been doing?

Of course Torbush will be back if we are 0-11. That is not even a question.

I see no reason why Fulmer would still be on the payroll. He is no help to us at this point.

If Chesney and Smith have done anything at all, it has not been public. That is just another one of the frustrating things regarding this stadium issue. If they are over the fundraising efforts, why aren't they on TV or radio promoting it?

Well apparently we are trying to keep Fulmer on the payroll, not sure why though, he sure ain't helping us win anything.

He has been a big part of us raising money.

If he is directly responsible for over $167,000 in donation per year, I am good with keeping him on until that is no longer the case. But it has to be a money-maker to justify it.

Maybe Steve Spurrier might wish to help out the university. He may have the time now.

I still say that the primary focus of the first year should have been on WINNING, thus recruiting with that as the only reason for being. If ETSU was at 5-0 or 4-1 at this point, I would bet that the $26.6 mil for the stadium would be done. Winning is what it is all about, period!!!

If Torbush keeps this up, name one Bucs fan who will enjoy it. This must be the worst start-up result for a new I-AA/FCS program ever. We have to play eight SoCon teams next season. How patient will Dr. Noland be since this is his baby, and he is trying to use it to help grow enrollment? I would guess that he is livid with this start.

Obviously Coach Fulmer has been responsible for raising a lot of money for ETSU football. I believe the University should do a better job of quantifying this fund raising and at least giving approximate numbers. There may be legal reasons why they have not done this. Until this happens I think the local media will continue to run stories that only talk about the costs.
