Ely's been the MAC West Offensive Player of the Week twice. You know its not for his running ability. My guess UT has a good passing game when
they use it. To say neither UT or Kent has a strong passing game is idiotic.

Very thorough as always. I'll comment that in only one game have we had more penalty yardage than our opponents. UT leads the MAC in opponent penalty yardage.

RE: Kent State - Toledo Preview
Decided to watch the replay of the Kent/Miami game this afternoon. My conclusion is that their stats are more impressive than their team. Defense is good. Not great, but good. Offense runs the ball pretty well. Watch out for the reverse and the option. Passing game isn't real strong from what I could tell. Good kickers.

If our receivers don't let us down I expect us to go into Foxboro still unbeaten.

Just watched it as well. Not sure what is worse....Kent's offense or Josh Cribbs on the call.

My prediction is that we allow 10 or less points Saturday

I was referencing the flag-fest against Ball State. KSU has committed lots of penalties in their first four games but they had fewer penalties in their last outing.

One reason I see for the opponents having more penalties is the play of the defense, particularly the DL. Lots of holding calls on opposing OLs.

Exactly. Our D has been giving fits to O-linemen. False starts and holds. Hopefully the BSU craziness was an anomaly.
