I have had my heart broke so many times over the recent years by MT and I don't expect that to change this coming weekend. Others have more faith in WKU than I do against MT

It's weird because I can't find a book that opened at 7.5. I see the VI consensus says it but the books themselves all opened 9 or 10. I wouldn't read too much into that 7.5.

Unfortunately most of the MT fanbase is pretty down after choking away the last 2 games, so there probably won't be as much trash talk as usual. I think this is the most high quality matchup of MT/WKU since WKU moved up. This game is almost always a nailbiter, but I don't think so this year. WKU by 3 scores. MT's season has gone from potentially great to average, and I think there's a chance it spirals out of control after this week.

This has been a throw out the record book game in the past. I hope that's the case this time but I have a feeling this is the year you reset that clock that's in my signature. Not only does it appear that you have the better team but I believe the "due" for a win factor is play as well. I hope I am wrong but 4 plus years without losing in Football or hoops was a good run regardless. I think it will be closer than some MT fans are thinking but hard not to see WKU winning this one.

Big game in BG this week - winner will definitely control the east. This game will give the winner all the momentum to run thru the conference slate.

This game is guaranteed to be close! Our defense has played well the last two weeks, but this week it'll change. It's going to be hard for both teams to find their mojo due to the 11 AM kickoff, so it'll be interesting to see how the teams start off. Those that think MTSU will struggle are mistaken. Both teams always amp up for this one, so it'll be a good one for sure!

How close are y'all to selling out? I would think with the roll you're on and revenge in sight this will be SRO.

Get a grip Blue. This game has been decided by five points or less five out of the last seven times including the last four consecutive meetings.

Both teams have looked great at times and suspect at others. I'm picking MT to win, but regardless of winner it will likely be by a touchdown or less and I'll be shocked if it's in excess of two touchdowns.

Might as well be playing Peay as far as the Western fans caring about this game

Given your record against us at home, they would be way more excited about playing Peay. But there again at 17k this will still be a top 10 crowd.
