I may be stubborn, but I persist in believing that Charlie Strong is a good football coach, and certainly a good recruiter and talent developer as indicated by the number of Louisville players drafted this past May. Lou Holtz hired him twice, and Urban Meyer retained him from Ron Zook's staff when Urban took over in Florida.

He was 37-15 at Louisville on the heels of Steve Kragthorpe going 15-21

If the interim AD at Texas yields to the mob, I wonder if it presents an opportunity for Dr. K and Leebron.

MemOwl - I agree. Always have felt that Strong is a good coach based on his body of work. That said Texas is terrible this year and this beatdown just reflects even worse on us

Stirring the pot, maybe, but if Strong is good, then why isn't he even competitive against opposition that doesn't roll over for the name UT? He's not lacking the talent on his roster.

UH handling Tulsa 21-10 at halftime. Tulsa has left a lot of points on the field. Terrible play-calling.

"crappy"... This game is just a testament to how high the inequality is. Top 5 >>> top 25 >>> Top 50 >>> and so on.

Doesn't help that UT's punt returner (/ WR?) who destroyed us is injured.

Texas doesn't look that talented. Our O line and D line handled theirs pretty well.

I don't disagree. The question is why is Rice not top 50?

This is a terrible UT team. About to be 1-4.
