Dukes vs Babbling Brook Game Thread
TV Programming Note for the NY-NJ market:

Stony Brook at JMU, which was scheduled to air at 12:00 PM on SNY, will not air.
Instead, SNY will cover the Mets-gNats game (originally scheduled tonight, rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon due to weather).

Since the rescheduled baseball game involves the Washington gNats, people in the DC market may want to confirm the JMU game didn't get bumped there too.

Also, this thread can serve as the game thread tomorrow. 04-rock

Please add to the subject line "game thread". We don't need two threads again this week.

Just for clarification, in the DC-area, the JMU game is on CSN+, not CSN (on Directv that means tune to channel 642-1). The Nats/Mets game will be on MASN2 so there is no conflict.

I prefer the name "Pebble Run". Brooks, creeks and streams were called "runs" in my part of Nova.

Rocky River. It has a lyrical quality.

Gravel Creek, but said like my Pennsylvania family says it: "crick".

Also, hooray for noon start times! Being in Central European time is a pain in the rear for sports sometimes.

I would normally curse someone who likes the early starts, but I can see your problem. Also, its a given, FW games are always early so I've grown to accept it for this game. Finally, it's freaking wet everywhere, the sooner we get this thing started the sooner it will be over. As DD stated, watching rain games is like watching leaves fall from a tree, after you've seen about six make their way to the ground, or in this case six plays, you're are ready for a hot dog.

I highly recommend those who will be viewing the game on Madizone to first try the feed that states, "STONY BROOK FOOTBALL at JAMES MADISON
Please note that this broadcast is being produced by Colonial Athletic Association." This should be the Comcast Sportsnet feed and less of a slide show.

Do you guys get the CSN+ channel? I'm in Fredericksburg. My Fios has VPI/Pitt on CSN & JMU/SBU on CSN+.

Thanks for the tip. I'm bummed SNY dropped the game but happy for an alternative to Madizone.

Seeet, thanks! Have you ever noticed that the channel guide for that channel 11 is often times incorrect? I hope its correct today!
