I'm a Nashville Tiger. Had to listen to the first half of the Bowling Green game in the truck. There IS an AM station that has Memphis football. Picks up to about 60 miles out of Nashville, so gets all of the collar counties as well.

U of M says it's WAMB-AM 1160, but I swear that when I was looking for it for that game, I found it on a different station. Maybe I'm wrong though.

The Bowling Green game was at 2PM, so you had to be listening to a station fairly close to you. At night...radio signals can act very strangely. When I worked in radio in Indianapolis, I could pick up our AM station which was at 1260...in Memphis. It was not very loud....but I could still hear it.
Here is a link to the daytime coverage pattern of WREC-AM. You can also go to the top of the page and type in the call letters of any station (not the slogan such as Rock 103, etc) and get a link to both the daytime and night time signal patterns. we were ranked 25th for one week during 2004. Other than that and the end of year 25th last year never been ranked and never have been ranked higher than 25th (although I do remember on either ncaa 05/06 video game they had us ranked 20th to start the year in dynasty mode)

I had the tigers ranked #1 with a national championship on NCAA 2010. First undeafeated season went to a big bowl game and thought wow it would be cool if this happen in real life. GO TIGERS and GO TO HELL OLE MISS. BTW where can we get GO TO HELL MISS pins or royal blue shirts?
