Two Catches
Lot of big plays last night and huge catch by Cogswell for TD.

But two catches really stand out.

Shaqs grab while being draped and probably interfered with down at like the 3

McKays sticking his hand out and tipping ball to himself

These were big plays that helped stem any momentum Miami was trying to get and mcKays catch was really the first big offensive play of the second half.

Assists to Moore especially on throw to Shaq...big time throw.

Shaq really helped his professional stock last night. We rarely have good punt returns and he put a sick move on the first defender last night. I'm not sure how his measurables will stack up but he looks like an NFL slot guy to me, potentially a really good one.

Totally agree. In big games you need your players to step up and make those one or two plays that are difference makers. Who knows what happens without those two plays. Prior to the McKay catch our offense had stagnated in the second half. The DBs were stepping up and challenging our WRs so we needed a guy to beat the press and get behind the defense. Huge change in momentum after that play.

There was at least one other guy wide open in the end zone, but Moore made it more difficult by throwing it to Cogswell.

I thought he the to the wrong guy when he let it go. Cogswell made a heck of a play, but he did have a way more open guy in the back corner of the end zone.

RE: Two Catches
The unsportsmanlike penalty on Cogswell was a farce, as well as the phantom interference call

Shaq had a Marty Gilyard type of night.
A real difference maker for UC in the national spot light.

I thought goodie, with his hands, was a perfect slot receiver... But still worry shaqs size will hinder his nfl growth

RE: Two Catches
Second half long throw by Miami, the Miami receiver pushed off pretty significantly and made the catch. How the refs didn't see it baffled me, but they could see the foul on UC from 40 yards away!

RE: Two Catches
Shaq is small and he doesn't have blazing speed. I expect him to be a sought after undrafted free agent.

RE: Two Catches
That pass interference call was HORRIBLE and complete BS. The back judge threw the flag from like 40 yards away from the play, when the side judge ruled it an incomplete pass. Terrible call and Tuberville lighting the back judge up right in front of us was priceless and so good to see!
