If you can't support him, support the team! I remember the Tic Price days...we need to avoid another time like that!

I can assure you, it goes way beyond the minority, as you put it, than what's posted on this board. There are many people who don't even know this board exists that wanted him gone 2-3 years ago. Drop in interest, drop in attendance (butts in seats) and the decrease of season tix should tell you all you need to know.

There will always be a small percentage of Happy Clappers, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Nothing at all. But the delusion is high when they repeat that those not happy are a small vocal minority - I haven't missed a home game in probably at least 5 years and I can tell you without hesitation that attendance is down. I don't know if they're dropping acid before games and seeing imaginary butts in seats or if they just don't go to games so that they can maintain their happy little fantasy.

If pastner's your guy, great - but don't trick yourself into thinking you're part of a big happy club. (Not directed @ tigerbo)

Six of the usual suspects have spoken and claim to be the majority. Be happy and enjoy the season and don't forget to PM TigerX3.

Doesn't mean we all think he should be coaching the Tigers.

I am hoping that Pastner coaches and reacts better not being the ONLY game in town.

That said we MUST keep our focus of football.

Basketballs is an afterthought anywhere but the us.

I dont agree that we all like JP.
Personally I can't stand him as a person. First off, people overrate his "high morals". He creates positive PR by doing humanitarian type things away from basketball, which is good…. but who gives a crap if he doesnt cuss or drink caffeine. When it comes to recruiting, he's as shady as anyone else. Don't forget he tried to steal our recruits and players along with Cal just before he got the job.

I dont hate him because he's a terrible basketball coach and a terrible motivator. What makes me really hate him is the way he insults the fan base with every interview. He never answers a question directly or honestly, always sugar coating everything with the same BS about winning being hard or law of averages. Further, his stubborness demonstrated by his inability to make coaching adjustments has destroyed our basketball program.

If the man had ANY integrity at all, he would admit that he has done a horrible job. The bit he did recently with Parrish where he boasted about his record and stats as a coach, saying that it was the same 10 people complaining about him, while all along knowing that attendance and recruiting is trending into the toilet…. he is playing the role of politician here to save his own job. Everyone on this board SHOULD BE completely insulted by this

Ummm...okay.

We want to have a good team. We don't have one. That's the coach's fault. Majority, minority, call it anything you want. Memphis deserves a better team than the ones Pastner has produced. We've had 5 coaches who have created great teams, Pastner has not.
