Lol. Years ago, when my elderly mom used to babysit our then 7 yr. old son she fessed up to a couple times of giving him a can of frosting, a spoon, and plopping him in front of the cartoon channel. Always with the admonition "now don't eat it all" and "don't tell your parents". lol

He had a 75 yard touchdown run against us last year to start the 2nd quarter but he only had 102 yards total. This year his longest run is 32 yards.

Found out last night we have two grandkids coming over to spend the weekend so Mommy and Daddy can go to College Station for Moo State and A&M.

I told her you are own your own until about 10 pm so you might want to order in for the kids.

And because of the little ones there will be no cursing or drinking (too much).

Anyway, looking forward to some Tiger football tonight on ESPN for an important league game on the road.

Don't forget it is Friday night football in Texas.
Dragons have away game at Coppell tonight, kicking off district games.
Gonna have to make sure phone is charged so I can watch.

Just checked on Allen High School (Texas) and they have won 48 STRAIGHT football games. Pretty amazing for a 6A school. They are only a few miles from us and I have to go to one of their games just to check out the stadium.

Great weather! Have marching band competition tomorrow in Denton.
I am sure the kids will enjoy this weather over the 95 degree kick offs from earlier in the month.
We play Trinity in a few weeks. That is gonna be a tough game for the Dragons.

RE: Memphis Vs. South Florida Official Game Thread
Since we Dallas area folks have hijacked this thread for a few minutes, my daughter was a cheerleader at Arlington Martin and is now at Texas A&M. One of her best friends at Martin dated Myles Garrett, one of the best high school football players in Texas (the country) who signed with A&M....so he is showing her around A&M. But the really weird part is that her roommate at A&M is the daughter of the new head football coach at SMU....Chad Morris. So, got to be careful what I say when I go there.

Yes. It wasn't cheap and I'm not sure who ended up paying for the structural repairs, the contractor of the ISD. Allen stadium might be the jewel of DFW but there are 25-30 outstanding high school football stadiums in the area. Incredible facilities.
