Their OK. My biggest issue with these UA uniforms has been the triangles and the trimming around the c-paw on the pants (both uniforms and sleeves on the football unis). It just does nothing for me as it has no real connection to the university/teams of the past.

Weird that it is the italicized font, since when UA was announced it was stated that the font type was going to stay the same, but change to bold instead of italicized.

I like the jerseys. Simply and clean. As with the football jerseys, I'm more relieved that the jerseys aren't crazy and UA didn't try to put us down the Maryland route.

Understand your point about the new "stripe" but I'm pleased that it is a subtle trim element rather than some garish giant triangles in a broad stripe. It is understated to the extent that many won't even notice the detail of it; for those of us who do it will be uniquely UC.

Nothing done in the first year is going to result in a connection. Give it some time, especially if this turns into a special season for the basketball team.

I can go with these, the shorts at least. I think the tops could have used something more, maybe down the sides ala the 96 unis, where they connected to the shorts.

RE: Under Armour Basketball Uniforms
I'm a big fan of the unified identity across all sports that UA is giving us. Our jerseys in all men's and women's sports look rather similar, which is great for brand recognition, something I think our Adidas jerseys (especially the ones with the highlighter orange-red pants) did not give us in the past. The only jerseys that are not entirely similar to the others are the soccer jerseys which are pretty awesome in their own right.

Best looking UC basketball uniform since the Adidas throwbacks. Best home and away combination since the last version of the Jordans.

I know I'm in the minority, but I actually kind of like the trim/border pattern. Sure, it doesn't particularly stand out but the past few years did because they were ass ugly. Give me low key and bland all day every day over what they've had in the past. Their uniforms in March, made the team look like they couldn't keep their pants up. Looking different for the sake of looking different, isn't necessarily a positive.

Ummmm, no? Pretty sure I said it was odd that the fonts were italicized since UA/UC stated they were using bold fonts, not italicized. The words on the football jerseys aren't italicized so I don't know why the basketball jerseys are.

Anyone know if/when these will be available at the bookstore? They'd miss a huge opportunity for sales if they're not in this weekend for Homecoming.

They're not using the italicized font for names and numbers like Adidas used, 'Cincinnati' will always be italicized because the c-paw logo itself is italicized.

You can't change the wordmark without changing the logo. I love the c-paw and the wordmark "Cincinnati" and hope they do not change them to un-italicize them.

I don't mind that they changed the names to non-italicized since some were hard to fit on the uniforms, but they should have kept the numerals italicized.
Would have also been nice to put a little something like a c-paw or state of Ohio between the nameplate and neck on the back. It looks so plain. Hard to identify they're Cincinnati from behind on TV.
