Impressive showing at Northwestern
If not for a costly turnover Ball State would have won last Saturday. Was an exciting game watching 2 teams with young QB's (NU"s is a redshirt Freshman). I was very impressed by Riley Neal, he's an excellent scrambler and because of his athleticism was not sacked the entire game. BSU's D did not play particularly well against NU"s run game but did recover 2 fumbles. BSU's running game was also effective ganing 5.3 ypc.

If not for NU winning the time of possession battle because of the effectiveness of the Wildcat run game, BSU would have won.

Jordan Williams is going to eat the MAC alive this year and every MAC team will have a very tough time stopping Riley from completing passes to him.

Had they not missed 2 FG and that fumble at the 4 or 5, they go up 16-0. I wonder how Northwestern would have responded to that. But it's coulda, woulda, shoulda....

I *really* like Riley Neal and think he is going to be special for BSU before it's all over with.

I'll be interested to see how BSU matches up with Toledo. The Cardinals usually play them well. While I love Lembo, it's his 5th year and his defenses have been awful for the most part. I'd like to see some focus on that for once.
