Isnt there a deadline coming up for project finalization? AD office might decide to put out a memo to distract from the hot water shes in.

sorry if this has been answered but have they started work on Kaplan or has that been put on hold because of the issues surrounding the Athletic Department right now.

Haven't heard about any public changes. Actual work on the arena hasn't begun, but as far as I know, everything is progressing on schedule.

The announcement in February said construction would start in the Fall of 2020. But I guess technically we're only a third of the way through the fall at this point.

It would be interesting if anyone actually in Williamsburg sees any evidence of preparations for work.

Surveying stakes are to be seen around the area.

Figured I would share what is nearing completion at JMU. Glad to see CAA arenas being upgraded, especially in VA.

Stakes have been there for a few weeks. No digging as of yesterday. A few weeks back a construction supervisor told me that actual work would begin in December.

Great news if this is still happening.

Reminders. Final approval of design not even complete until the end of this month.

So if i am reading this correctly ..final design approval is due by 10/31? Work is suppossed to be completed by 10/31/2022?

Does anyone know where BB will be playing during construction?

No dirt displacement yet. I encountered a construction executive in August and he said work would begin in December.

Absent from the interim-AD announcement- nothing re ground-breaking. Hope this isnt getting postponed.
