It would be sad if that was the case. Perfect opportunity to start construction when fans are not allowed at the games.

Anyone hear anything new? I know a couple of very generous donors put up a majority of the money but it was my understanding that they needed to raise some additional funds. I wonder if they will move forward with the project this year.

I guess that means that one of the donors can afford the whole project now?

Yeah, its kinda weird. Stock market also recovered and then some. I wonder if theyre just postponing the start due to the politics of the Tribe 7 and Huge being dismissed. Are they trying to revisit the plans and downgrade the renovation in order to shift some of that money into scholarships? Its silly because it should be much easier without fans to get this done, but I get the optics of it.

He could have easily funded the entire "For the Bold".

I big thanks to the generous donors who stepped up to fund a majority of this project! The College should provide an update of their intended action plan!

Amen! Hopefully the College is sufficiently grateful for these donors unprecedented largess and runs, not walks through this amazing door of opportunity!

With the winter solstice now in the rear view mirror, the previously announced “Fall 2020” construction start date has also passed (with no activity that I’ve heard of other than maybe some stakes). I think an update is definitely in order. Either that, or somebody go turn a few shovelsful of dirt and call it progress.

That’ll only happen if they include high speed rail from one end of the building to the other.

Don't tell him we are the Green & Gold, just the Green, and perhaps we will then be "golden".

I seem to remember ODU experimenting with this once...
