The thing is, those shows draw decent ratings, and use talent that is already contracted (granted some of that could be the "fat"). But most studio shows like this, because they use talent already on payroll, cost little (compared to live events) to produce, and make money.

Your last sentence raises a potentially interesting point about the negative corporate-culture implications of cost-cutting at profitable divisions. ESPN went through layoffs in 2009 and 2013 as well. It doesn't seem that morale in the division collapsed afterwards. Maybe the third time is the straw?
I am sorry, where was all of this I don't know what I am talking about, and there is no proof, and blah blah, blah, that you spent all of these posts asking? Noticed you quietly disappeared.
WTF? I stopped talking about that because it was apparent that you HAD no proof about what Disney was doing with other divisions, were just talking out of your arse nonsensically, but as usual lacked the guts to admit it, so were just going to blather on without providing the requested proof that you were obligate to provide.
As for what Disney should do, I'll answer the question for you: Of COURSE they should cut fat from ESPN, no matter how profitable ESPN otherwise is. Good Grief.
No. Actually I did. Just because you ignore it doesn't mean the evidence wasnt presented. Pretty much shut you the **** up. But you can feel free to show anything to dispute it, you know as requested. Until then, we'll just to chalk it up to your one of your , many, many failings on This board.

You presented NO objective evidence, and lying about it doesn't make it so. Typically Adcorb clown move.
You have NO evidence at all that Disney is riding herd on ESPN while going easy on other divisions. I'll give you one more chance, this space reserved for your evidence. Good luck:

No objective evidence? You mean other than testimony of employees, evidence of who was cut and who wants, and daring you to show me it was anyone other than ESPN who was asked to cut? Like I said, I could pull your brain out of your ass, an sulu still wouldn't understand why people Calle should brainless.
Try using said space to a dully rice your point instead I proving your ignorance. Might help: but I doubt it.
