Interesting vote on the dorm quality TP. Free is always better I assume?

It's invigorating when someone else has to do it for you. And for their pride, they pick the brand. Especially after they have to mow the lawn and clean the floors, etc.

I'm lucky enough not to be married or have a girlfriend. When I was dating this one chick, I swear we would be going to the store to buy toilet paper once a month and we were purchasing those 36 pack double roll packs for like 30 bucks! Now I barely go through a roll a month. That girl was responsible for 1/8 of the deforestation of the amazon based off of how much TP she'd use, I chit you not.

A 36 pack of toilet paper rolls was disappearing every month due to a fake girlfriend? That is impressive.

Wait till you have toddlers, and they discover they can put whole rolls in the toilet at once.

I meant not just buying, but applying the TP. That's where all the fun's at.

RE: Lets talk toilet paper.
I worked with a girl who lived in Africa for a summer. She lived in a small village where when you went to the toilet you went to a special spot in the woods.
There was no TP, you wiped with your left hand. When reaching out to greet someone you always shook hands with your right hand because to do otherwise was an insult. Your left hand was known as your "poop hand."

RE: Lets talk toilet paper.
^^^^ Ummmm, nobody came up with the bright idea of trying some of the Leaves in the woods? Or would that leave one without a nasty weapon to use on a fellow villager when the time called for it? lol
Hey wait... Maybe that's where CMU's QB is originally from!
Mother: Awww, look at him. But I don't know what to name him, or what to do with him...
Father: I knew this was a mistake. He has CMU written all over him.
Mother: It's never a mistake, you twit. Not the best idea, but never a mistake. I don't want to argue with you.
Father: Okay, okay -- sorry honey. Let's name him after your left hand. And his last name based on how fast you use that hand.
Mother: Okay, deal.

Have you not seen what kind of animals and bugs are in Africa? I'd like to avoid that and take my chances with my poop hand.

Maybe hand-select the leaves first, brush them off, etc. Wouldn't take MacGuyver to come up with something on that front.
And I'm sure there's crazy animals & bugs in Africa -- but if you're going in the woods, you're already in there. Has one not considered feces all over their hand? It will also get everywhere else over time. (Shudder)

RE: Lets talk toilet paper.
According to this post I found on Reddit today on the top page. This $1,100/night hotel choses 1-ply TP. Please note, that a standard room in this hotel is about 300 dollars/night. Interesting choice and nice that this was posted while we were having this conversation.
