Yep. At least from ESPN3 the crowd sounded louder than Yager has been for a while. Good news is that next game is Family Weekend, and we always get a lot of people for that.

I saw a lot of red in the stands at Ohio State. I imagine about 30,000 at minimum where NIU fans.

I did see a lot NIU fans around, and I heard the NIU chant on the television. Have to say you were well represented.

Quality attendance for NW Ohio as BGSU AND Toledo pulling in over 20k on the same day.

I think they were Texas Tech fans who got off at the wrong airport...

OSU is Scahlett!

sounds like Marshall fans who claim they fill up 1/3 of Peden Stadium because of the specific shade of green of the shirts.

That stadium is at least 1/8 full! I guess that's how it works, I'm using that Marshall education of mine.

On top of EMU not having a winning season in eons, its very close proximity to scUM (7 miles) also has a negative impact on overall student interest.

EMU is also in the Detroit Media market which focuses 99% of its attention on Big 10 and the pro teams. The MAC barely on the radar and EMU gets zero local coverage. The Ann Arbor News (the closest things to a local paper in the area) will actually post school generated game reports rather than send a reporter to games. EMU and the MAC are an after thought and most students/alums are UM fans - Pretenderines, Walmart Wolverines, Etc.
