The less unions, the better. Keep 'em out of Target.

Good for Target....

I have worked in both union and non-union companies. I can honestly say that career advancement for the non-union companies was about 100 times better than it was at union facilities.

If unions operated more akin to those in sports I feel most people would be more supportive of them. Unfortunately most employee unions choose to protect incompetent members, revel in being oblivious to owner considerations and would rather dabble in politics. Their scorn is well earned

If the unions provide a valuable service, they should have no problem in attracting membership.

This. The best example is the union workers in Detroit who were fired a few years ago because a news channel caught them drinking and doing drugs on their lunch break. They were fired. But a year or 2 later, the union got them rehired, and I believe had them paid for the wages they lost while fired.

And now I'm seeing members ***** because the wage in the new UAW contract would top at at $25 for one of the tiers. They're saying that is not enough. Seriously???? STFU.

Unions members are so entitled. They believe they should be making $50/hr without having to pay for any of their health insurance/
