Get to 8 wins and you guys will bowl somewhere IMHO. At 7-5 I'd like to believe you'd have a shot somewhere in Texas though bowl selection committees have been known to dredge up a 6-6 P5 team because they believe it'll increase interest and attendance.01-lauramac2

ULM will be a tough matchup, but they don't have much of an offense, and we catch them early in the year when our offense is fresh. I just don't see where the other 2 losses come from.

I think ULM offense is much improved this year. Garrett Smith at QB is looking very good.

Just sucks that 8 wins is the threshold for TXST. Oh well. Beat USM and then on to the next one.

I agree with this because I feel any 7-5 FBS team should go bowling before any 6-6 period. SBC has to get a western bowl to fix this issue and the Rice Bowl or Austin Bowl would certainly go a long way in keeping our western teams happy. 6 bowls I believe is the best number for our conference right now if we are going to keep 12 Football playing teams.
