I'd agree with that, except ... Univ. Iowa and Florida State both recently named as president political operators with zero higher ed experience (ok, the guy at Iowa taught a class once as an adjunct. That's it.). Trustees in each case told infuriated faculty and alumni to go **** themselves.

Jeez, I bet there will be some serious debate over that ... lol ... we all know that the BOT called it in for being their golden boy. An approval is just the window dressing for the public.

So now there are 2 salaries for what was 1 before .... there's just not enough money .. none at all

Undergrad at Birmingham Southern, Law at UA (Both with honors by the way.) He is a smooth talker. He told me on one occasion he loves Birmingham and UAB is a big part of it and wants the best. I'm about to use one of these little smilies.

His brother is the same way. Smooth talks, but is very arrogant. Very two-faced. Type of people where you don't listen to what they say - you watch what they do to get their true intentions. They act like they want to be your friend and are sympathetic to gain your trust, but hide their real feelings. His brother is probably the most outspoken person I know AGAINST any kind of stadium for UAB - and this was years ago. Also is a proponent for PBJ - called him the "best businessman this State has ever seen".
