I think we may see a significant bump in attendance, especially student turnout. My guess is 22,000 now--a loss at Arkansas would of been around 18,000

The marketing department better get to work tomorrow morning (if they haven't already). Need to be promoting how we have a Big 12 opponent coming to the Glass Bowl on national tv (ESPN News) and we knocked off a top 20 SEC team. They need to be 'name dropping' these conferences so people realize this is big time.

They should flood social media and create some hard hitting TV promos, and get them out ASAP!

Maybe even the local media with will cooperate with stories early in the week (name dropping: tickets available) and consider that UT selling tickets is in the best interest of the media.

I see at least 25k. 22k would have shown up regardless.

Agree, that even with a loss we would have had 22k. We had 18 for stony brook, on a Thursday, with imminent rain coming.

Regardless of what happened in Arkansas this weekend, as opposed to our opener, the differences are this game is on a Saturday, big(ger) name opponent, Michigan is not playing at the same time, and the road team will bring about 1,000 more fans.

Now, I feel like the win and us being all over espn will fill in the rest of the seats. just my thoughts, but could be wrong.

People are craving a home football game after not really seeing one yet so I say attendance will be good.
