Or, you know, it's a normal electrostatic discharge that occurs tens of thousands of times every day hitting an extremely high metal object acting like a literal lightening rod. Acting any differently is painfully close to blaming hurricanes on homosexuals.

Probably not a coincidence, imo.

No, it absolutely is a coincidence. And not even a particularly impressive one at that. Like Fo Shizzle pointed out, that picture of Tower One is completely dependent on the angle and location of the photographer, and according to the NOAA, lighting strikes the earth roughly 8 million times a day. So, you know, let's act like we're capable of critical thinking.

I'll go with ironic over coincidence.

Saw today where a Muslim cleric said it was a "great honor" to be crushed by the crane since they will be buried in Mecca and many people wish to die while there.
