Looks like its to jail for violating the court order
Oh wait, no, unions can apparently thumb their nose at a court order without harm. You liberal loonies want to say they need to be thrown in jail?
Teachers in nearby Pasco are also in the middle of a strike. They voted not to return to the classroom despite a court order to end a strike.

They should be fired for not reporting to work.
They should be jailed for violating a court order, as long as we are going to apply the law even handed.

Many people thought that our nation's air transportation system couldn't survive without the air traffic controllers.

What are you even talking about? Has the judge ordered them to jail yet? Until he/she does, this is no way different at all from what Davis did and what happened to her.
If the judge orders them and they don't go, they will be arrested and taken as they should be.
At least wait until there is something to actually complain about.

Yeah, he's skipping a step here but I don't think he really cares.

If the teachers violate a court order, then they should be liable to the punishment for disobeying a court order. Once found in contempt of court for violating the court order, then absolutely put them in jail because being in contempt is normally punishable by going to prison until the court order is followed. This is not hard people.

I don't disagree with this, I don't think anyone does. That being said, I don't know if it's a realistic solution to jail that many people (admittedly, I don't know how many teachers this is).

What does any of that matter? Are they in violation of the law? Lock them up.

That would be a problem then. If one or a couple violate a court order and then is found to be in contempt of court - warrants for arrest are normally issued. If those warrants are not issued because there are many people violating the court order...not good at all.

Tents can be set up. Aren't there some Walmarts and Fema camps these people could be locked up at?

This as happened in NY and the head of the union was jailed. Only one cot and 3 hots a day to the taxpayers.

Like Davis, they probably can't be. She had the state constitution protecting her and they likely have their union and collectively bargained contracts protecting them.

Davis was an elected official. I see the problem with firing her. These are hired employees. I don't see a problem with dismissing them for not coming to work. I guess though If the school system allowed a contract that protected them from dismissal under situations like this?...then they deserved what they are getting.

That's what I kind of assumed would happen.
