You can't make this stuff up

Check out who is escorting her out of the building. An obvious member of the republican base.

You mean Kim Davis, right?

And by the way, has anybody taken note that she's a democrat?

I've known it for over a week. I was going to mention how the articles I see about her never mention her party affiliation, although since she is an elected official it was clear she would have one.

I was just waiting for the usual suspects to continue to hang themselves until I brought it up.

It's kind of a quirk of Kentucky politics. Rand's campaign staff in the 2010 election explained it to me. Local officials are almost all democrats, republicans win most statewide races. Basically the democrat primary is the election for local officials and the general election decides state offices. It came up when I asked about how they expected to win the general, when there had been almost twice as many voters in the democrat primary as there were in the republican primary. Kind of the last remnant of the old Solid South.

Yes. I meant to write Davis instead of David. Typo.

If this woman is a democrat, someone needs to tell Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee and apparently Farmer Fran who escorted her out of the building.

Some of that can be found her in SENC also. Rarely do Republicans even bother to run for local office.

Even 10+ years ago when I was an auditor traveling the state, people who were lifelong Democrats complained about how liberal the party was becoming then.

Elections are decided in the democratic primary. Almost everyone is a registered Democrat. The actual election is almost a moot point

That's her husband Joe Davis. Considering she's a democrat he's most likely one as well.

Better luck next troll attempt!
