Penn State's biggest problem/disappointment vs Temple however was their brainless low IQ QB, by far the worst decision making QB in all of college football... How that QB was able to get a scholarship from Penn State is beyond me.

Point also trying to make is if Penn State had a QB with any brain cells, Temple may not be celebrating today.

you realize you are talking about a future #1 draft pick? he could leave as a true junior this season and be a top 20 pick

Seriously? Did you watch Louisville play Auburn yesterday? If UL hadn't screwed up their clock management at the end, they had a good chance to tie it up. They completely outplayed Auburn in the second half, after being down 17-0.

so? they still lost...no one is calling for a blowout here....but houston definitely has a chance

western michigan versus memphis (pretend it was your game next week)
memphis fan..i think we can take down WMU

houston fan..seriously? WMU looked like the better team the last 2 quarters vs #5 michigan state..It was 27-7 to start the game....if not for an interception on the goalline on their last drive they could have won it

yes Louisville looked good with lamar jackson in at QB...but he is a true freshmen who didnt exactly light it up through the air ..auburn had no film on him..and houston isnt exactly chopped liver

we will definitely have a chance....

Nope. Don't think so. They found their quarterback Jackson. I don't think Houston has the horses. I hate em (excluding wilkie) so don't tell I said so.. Houston probably gonna get massacred

I don't put it all on their QB. I don't know much about PSU other than what I saw that game, but I did see a two man rush make a sack. It wasn't like the QB was holding onto it. That offensive line was a sieve the second half.

At times though, I did see Penn State QB hold the ball more so enough as if he wanted to be sacked.

That or Temples defense is flat out scary good... But again, awesome performance by the good guys, Temple.

you realize basically the same team..as freshmen werent "massacred" by a more touted Louisville 2 years ago

most of the players on our current team were mostly the core players then..we lost okorn and greenberry on offense but we didnt score much when we played them last..and mathews and mbu on defense are the only major difference between that team and our current team

louisville isnt bama....their horses arent that much better than ours.... the talent recruiting difference is larger between houston and memphis..than louisville and houston

jackson is a true freshmen who has yes to make any legitimate passes ...he has shown he can run but thats about it..and unlike auburn we will have film
and keep sleeping on ward, 300 passing and 100rushing in 2.5 quarters last week..it was fcs but as shown by memphis and pitt he can do that versus anyone

Hackenberg is one of the biggest busts this decade. Time to move on

i just looked at his draft stock he is still viewed as a top 2 qb this class...if he left to go to the nfl

if you watched the elite 11 camp..for the best qb prosepcts this summer on espn, they bring in all the touted college qbs as counselors (josh dobbs tennesse , deshaun watson clemson, mike bercovici ASU, malik zaire ND, jt barret OSU) along with hackenberg in the that they said without a question and by a mile hackenberg was by far the best qb in the camp overall between the other counselors and the elite qb prospects

im not sure how everyone still considering you elite means bust....keep in mind temple was getting to him with a 2 man rush (meaning everyone else was in converage)..i think most people consider psu's oline the bust not him

Hackenberg may be a future NFL QB by those statistics, but I pray the Texans stay as far far away from him as possible.

But then again, the AAC isn't a G conference as many claiming this league to be.

lol bill obrien (the texans head coach) and former psu head coach has been one of the biggest supporters of hackenberg.... if hacks stock sunk for whatever reason or the Texans did bad enough to get a high pick, he will likely land with the texans..hacks best year was under obrian as a true freshmen

Hackenberg is a product of Bill O'Brien system. Basically, a east coast version of Leach's quarterbacks. Place him in another offense and he's a bust.
