The bottom and middle of the p5 is about the same as a average G5. I wish they would take the top P5 schools and create there own semi pro league. The bama, OSU, OU, oregon's of the world are playing on a different field than the rest of the p5 and G5. Not to say they can't be beat but they have all of the resources.

With that being said, the Big 12 isn't going to be looking for schools from CUSA.
The best expansion candidates come from the MWC & AAC.
Our position is much better. That has worth.

Using baseball as an anology, I agree with you that it's fair to say you're Triple A and we're Double A. Still can you imagine Triple A ballplayers puffing their chest out at Double A players as if they're way above them? How ridiculous would that be on their part?

"the company dominates the market for operating system software"

The only domination being done in the G5 is Boise State over the MWC, and NIU over the MAC.

Congratulations on the good week, CUSA.

I have zero attachment to the new members except WKU basketball has always been impressive to me.....but I have tons of respect and attachment to the long-time members of CUSA and the fans/posters of those programs.

CUSA was and remains a good conference with quality members that serves its members very well.

Haha you can keep the bell, we do not view you as a rival anymore. We have stepped up quite a bit with our new conference and the last thing we want to do is be associated with bush league C-USA schools like Southern Miss. Move on, lord knows we have.

Congrats Marshall on today win. (Although I had you winning by more... 03-razz)

C-USA did well this week. Props USM for giving MooState all they could handle.

Don't worry, Tulame was never our rival. The 23-7 record and fact that we outdrew you at your own (rented) stadium attest to that. The only I miss about playing Tulame is the seventh home game in New Orleans and the automatic win.

Maybe your new "big time" conference will help you improve on that 33-88 record over the past ten years, but I doubt it.

Now run along back to Aak board, there are grown ups talking here.

RE: CUSA is showing dominance early over AAC again
CUSA 3.0 is an interesting league to me. Some good teams, a decent bowl lineup, some real rivalries, a really compact western division, etc. If you guys manage to pull off a decent new tv contract, I don't see any big downside to the league. The access bowl spot being open to the entire G5 has leveled the playing field a lot.

I kind of question the need for 14 teams, but in today's realignment environment, a cushion of two teams helps I guess if you suddenly get raided.

The difference between our two conferences is that when we beat you it is expected but when you beat us it is viewed as an upset, a David vs. Goliath situation. The little guys beat the big guys. That is why we do not view any of you as a rival, you do not deserve the recognition of being associated with us.

Moved on? I'm confused - isn't this the C-USA board?

Next in line for a Big 12 invite? Sounds like someone had a little too much fun on Bourbon Street.

Quick question, when was the last time Tulane was ranked in any sport? You guys are a complete embarrassment to the AAC and even the rest of your conference members know it. Nothing has changed since you were stinking it up in C-USA.
