Pitt wins but it was ugly.......I hope they improve next week otherwise they are going to lose at Akron.

It was a rather interesting game. I thought the DLine + Brigsby was excellent. There were times where Pitts was a competent CB. Maddox is the obvious choice as #1 CB. And overall I thought the S's were fine. Mitchell and Amara were solid. I thought Webb played well besides the play were he got torched. For about 3Q's I thought the D played well enough to win. I can't explain what happened in the 4Q.

Ollison was amazing. We really didn't need a passing game today. I wished Ford had gotten more looks in the passing game besides the bomb to him.

Akron showed some good run defense and punting at Oklahoma but little else. I think it will be a dogfight. Should be a great atmosphere with a large (by Akron/MAC standards) crowd.
