Looks like we got a better first game than JMU who is at 3rd seeded Duke.

Somehow, someway, I am sure the CAA conspired with the NCAA to screw JMU.

In context, I think if the men's basketball team gets an at large bid to the NCAA tournament, advances to the second round, and then loses to the #6 team in the country, I'll take it.

As Coach Daly points out on the post-game interview on Tribe Athletics we were also without three injured key starters.

We also finished with seven consecutive road games and won five of them with a tie thrown in. Losing 5-2 to the number two team on their field before 1100 Gator fans is no disgrace at all.

Congratulations to the ladies for a terrific season that returned the program to the upper levels of NCAA Division I soccer. Although we lose three key players. there is lots returning along with a very good, competitive freshman recruiting class for next year.
