Seriously? We have the NCAA record for winning seasons in women's soccer?

Men fall 2-1 to UNCW in double OT.

Unfortunately, the men have hit the skids the second half of the season.
Some very talented freshmen, but senior leadership and skill level is weak.

The program has had trouble the past few years and appears a far cry from the high levels with almost yearly NCAA bids reached for many seasons.

We have just one win in the CAA, where we dominated for years, in seven games this season.

They are very much in the running with 3 other schools for the regular season title. But, all remaining games are on the road.

Al Albert was the reason for the outstanding program.

Ever since he retired we have been average at best.

Men beat UNC-Asheville 4-2.

Men beat Drexel 3-0.

The Women need a win tomorrow night at Elon to tie for the regular season title with Hofstra. They will be the #2 seed if they are able to beat Elon.

Tonight's win 2-0 over Elon clinched a share of the regular season title. A great season and good luck in the playoffs!!!

The Tribe had to finish out the regular season with FIVE consecutive road games, a ridiculous schedule. All the Ladies did was win four and tie one of those five road games.

This is a tough women's team that should be a factor in getting an NCAA tourney slot, whether they win the CAA playoffs or not.

Too little, too late. Only one CAA game left v Delaware. Best we can do is 3-5 in the conference and .500 overall.

That is now 2 years in a row not even making the CAA tournament and a significant drop in appearances since Al Albert retired. We should be evaluating our coaching staff for a possible change.

Correction: If we beat Delaware at home AND JMU loses to #1 Hofstra (at JMU), we will sneak into the tourney as the #6 seed. We have won 3 in a row, so there is a chance.

So stick around in the burg saturday night for the Tribe nightcap at 7pm at the MADhouse. JMU plays simultaneously, so have everything to play for.
