Pretty talented writing-wise and observant, not above the down and dirty methods, but ok guy underneath.

Schad has been around only a few weeks so it is premature to compare him with Wolken, IMO.

Wolken tends to interject his own opinion or slant news hoping to draw attention to himself for his own advancement and to influence readers and listeners. His method obviously pleases many people, but others can make up their own mind given facts and input from experts (eg, professionals who played or coached in the game).

His writing was really good. His arrogance on the radio turned me off. Not disdain, disinterest.

you have to understand the mindset of these folks.......a young guy takes a job at a small newspaper and small radio show and in a fairly short time gets snapped up by a national newspaper and the resident sheeple "didn't like him".......pretty telling
