Look at it this way. Virtually every combination NIU wore last year (and presumably this year) has been worn by some NIU team in our history. It's not like we have an iconic uniform that everyone's known for 50 years. The closest we come to that is the ones from 2000-2010.

We're lucky that it's hard to f*^& up red and black.

Although somebody tell Ball St they're not allowed to wear black helmets & pants with red jerseys.

I thought they would have the auction AFTER they actually wore the jerseys? Am I missing something?

The auction runs from before and after the first game. It ends September 17.

The previous 2 auctions started before the game also.

The auction doesn't end until Sept 17th at 5pm.

I wonder if the players are trying suppress all info about the jerseys so they can keep them, ha.

I'm betting they get talked a lot in conjunction with the opener and it costs all us bidders the moneys. I mean, it'll be hard to avoid them.
