Well they do have NC St, UNC and Virginia Tech scheduled in Norfolk over the next few years. They are doing well in that regard.

And the VT deal has them coming to Norfolk 3 times. Add Wake Forest (though certainly not a powerhouse), and a very likely series with ECU in the works. UVA is on the AD's wish list for a H-H.

LaTech had some high quality games, I'm just surprised a 1-1 couldn't be arranged for Baylor. And if not at home game, potentially a neutral site game for Texas and Clemson.

I applaud La Tech on the scheduling. Hoping as the P5 moves away from scheduling FCS patsies that all of our conference mates can fill in these holes.

Nice pick up. I'm a big fan of CUSA-W playing B12 teams. I prefer the 2-1 but body bag games work too.

I don't think we should be throwing rocks at each other for this. Clearly Tech fans are happy and that's all that really matters. Football scheduling doesn't really affect other schools as much as basketball.

This game is expensive and they have to balance the budget as far as possible, if they have to spend one game earning the right to play the rest then that's fine, Tech are more than capable of getting 6 wins from 11. Baylor could be winnable at home and who can predict Texas football four years from now?

It's going to be a great day for Tech fans, C-USA will be on national TV with plenty of people watching and I don't think they'll get pummeled. As long as teams aren't stocking their OOC with multiple pay games then it's surely a good thing. Whoring yourself out is not sustainable, but Tech are far from whoring themselves out here. Mostly true, but one small quibble. Odds are this won't be a national TV game. These are the ones, like Rice this year, that they put on the LHN.

Or maybe by then they will have a legit playoff like the FCS level does and you guys may have shot at the National title too. It could happen!

ALL C-USA schools need to hold out for the absolute best schedule attainable.

In basketball teams should never play AT SWAC,MEAC, or even A-SUN schools because it is an RPI killer for the school AND indirectly the conference as a whole.----But I see these games on C-USA schedules year after year.Some schools just can't or won't improve their scheduling philosophy.
