The June date was competing against BJCC for double header concerts that night by Garth Brooks, so the BJCC was already taken. I liked having it at Bartow, but realistically BJCC will be the better venue, especially the 2nd go around. There were a lot of people looking for tickets last time so they could possibly have 12-14,000 in September. Concessions should be easier too.

I think its pretty funny as well. Just not for the same reason.

Yes. Alan Collins of WBRC FOX6 reported that the BOT blocked use of Bartow Area for the next fight. Rick Karle of FOX6 Sports tweeted similar info.

Rick Karle will say/tweet anything for attention. He does it all the time for a variety of sports-related things, UAB and non-UAB, I unfollowed him it was so annoying.

He said it was time for us to give up on football and start being nice to Watts and company while he was covering basketball in March, or something to that effect. Hot sports opinion coming at you!

They don't make them like they used to.

Most likely the case. Local tv sports departments do little, if any, investigative reporting. With Solomon gone, Talty is the only one that digs facts & data.

Alan Collins is the worst at Twitter. Just the worst.
