Ha. Seems weird for a college kid to be going to Belgium. I'm probably just being that weird Twitter stalker guy.

Don't look too much into it. Remember when Jordan Swing played some ball in Lithuania before his senior year? http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2013/...s_fai.html

Call me old fashioned but some one on the staff needs to get this kid to think through his social media decisions a little better. He just posted a photo of on Instgram wearing a necklace with a chrome razor blade on the end. For a kid that goes by "Coke Boy" that's a really bad look.

Whenever I start to rankle about student-athletes' social media habits, I try to remember that I'm closer to 50 than I am to 40, and when I was their age, I could make as big an ass of myself as I wanted and still didn't have the world for an audience.

I don't follow student-athletes on twitter and this is why. I don't want to cringe every time they post something I think is foolish.

It's just a bad look for the program. It wouldn't take 30 seconds for it to be resolved internally. Here's to hoping he'll dunk on a couple people and I'll stop being a prude.

Yeah that's not a good look. This isn't a "kids will be kids" thing. He seems to be a social media idiot. Why do some people lack basic common sense?

I don't follow any players or anything like that, but I always figured limiting social media for players was always in the best interest of all parties involved. I think some coaches even ban it completely during the season.

Yeah I don't think its a bad idea to do that.. People are completely oblivious to the things they post and the consequences it can have on them

I disagree. If UAB was the only program who had players tweeting "a bad look", you might have something. However, every team has players whose twitter posts don't meet the standards of their older, less street wise fans.

I see a tweet by Cokley, or before him, Jekore Tyler, and I write it off as different generations and backgrounds. Once I realized that what you see from most of the UAB players is different from the majority of players at other schools, it didn't bother me anymore.

I did have to stop following Dexter Fields, but that was because all of the hating on the Grizzlies he was doing03-lmfao
