Little Rock released the remainder of their schedule today

LITTLE ROCK – The Little Rock men's basketball team has finalized its 2015-16 schedule, head coach Chris Beard announced on Thursday. The 11-game non-conference slate includes a home-and-home series with instate rival Central Arkansas and road matchups at San Diego State, Tulsa, DePaul and Texas Tech.
"We have a very challenging schedule," Beard said. "Our team is looking forward to the opportunity to compete against some of the best programs in college basketball, with six of our opponents playing in the postseason last year. We are excited to have 14 home games in the Jack Stephens Center with our students and fans. We also have some good regional games in our non-conference schedule, including Central Arkansas and Tulsa. Our team will be tested nightly and well-prepared once Sun Belt Conference play begins in late December."
Little Rock opens its 2015-16 season with back-to-back home games.The Trojans' season opener vs. Central Baptist will also serve as the University's Homecoming on Saturday, Nov. 14. Little Rock welcomes former Trans America Athletic Conference foe Centenary to the Jack Stephens Center on Nov. 18 as part of a doubleheader with the Trojan women's basketball team and LSU.
The Trojans hit the road for their next three games. Little Rock plays at San Diego State – coming off 27 wins and an NCAA Tournament bid – on Nov. 21 before facing East Carolina in Las Vegas as part of the Las Vegas Invitational (Nov. 26). The Trojans close the month at Tulsa on Nov. 28. Tulsa won 23 games and advanced the second round of the NIT in head coach Frank Haith's first season.
Little Rock hosts Central Arkansas at the JSC in the front half of a home-and-home series with the Bears on Dec. 1. Road games at Idaho (Dec. 5) and DePaul (Dec. 12) follow before the Trojans make the trip to Conway to face UCA at the Farris Center.
The Trojans return home to take on Northern Arizona, a 23-win team and College Insider Tournament participant in 2014-15, on Dec. 20. Little Rock closes the non-conference portion of the schedule at Texas Tech on Dec. 22. Beard spent 10 years as an assistant with the Red Raiders, including seven under legendary head coach Bobby Knight.
The Sun Belt Conference portion of the schedule begins at South Alabama on Dec. 30. A full breakdown of the 2015-16 SBC slate can be found here.
