A couple of new names (including a few from out of state). I'm not sure if they're walk-ons or scholarship players.
I think just about 2015-16 roster is now online with the exception of track and field for the men and women? I see a new transfer in golf from Cal, a few new tennis players but also one missing cross country athlete (Madi McLellan).
I guess it's now official that Blake will be back. With the departures of Stephens, Ditman, McCanna and Orewiler, that is huge. Assuming Big Jon is back healthy and at full strength, I still think our pitching staff will be stout-- Duplantier, Fox, Pettite (finally healthy), Solecitto (healthy), Salinas (coming off a great Summer in California), Otto and Myers makes up a pretty strong returning corp.
Interesting that freshman football player Jackson Tyner is listed on the baseball roster. Anyone know anything about his baseball career? His position isn't listed on the roster.
Why is Duplantier listed as a junior? Bio lists him as "Candidate for a redshirt season." Didn't he already claim last year as a redshirt or it that something that is still to be determined by the NCAA? I realize that he's very likely to be drafted in the top rounds and leave after this year anyway, so it may not matter whether he's a RS Soph or a Junior from that perspective.

Pitching staff is always purported to be "stout" in preseason and then the team routinely under performs [for the last 8 years or so, I forget exactly, at least since Joe left].
We really need to PUT IT ALL TOGETHER again and EXCELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl..............
My understanding is that in baseball you don't apply for a redshirt year until you need it. Therefore, Duplantier is a junior...he can apply for a redshirt year but as of now he is a junior.

Walt always assumes no injuries and everyone's got their best stuff all the time.
